I hope you're all doing well. I need your support as I navigate my recovery from cervical spinal surgery. On June 26th, I had this surgery to ease my chronic pain and fix my compressed vertebrae, which could have left me wheelchair-bound. While it was a success, it brought about a substantial financial burden, and I have a long recovery ahead. Life has thrown many health challenges my way. I was born with a clubbed foot and underwent various treatments and surgeries for it. More recently, I've had two knee replacements and ankle surgery. These experiences have drained me both physically and financially. I want to focus on healing without financial worries looming over me. The medical bills, physical therapy sessions, medications, and home modifications have put immense financial pressure on me and my family. To help cover these expenses, I've started this LFEBridge campaign, hoping to raise $35,000. Every contribution, no matter its size, matters a lot. I've always prioritized helping others over my own needs. But now, I'm the one in need, and I'm reaching out for your help. Your generosity means everything to me. I get that these are tough times for many, given the state of the world. But even a small donation can add up. If you can't contribute, please help by sharing this campaign with others. Your support, in any form, helps me focus on recovery and a better future. Thank you for listening. Let’s prove that I'm not alone in this journey and that we support each other every step of the way. Update (July 31, 2024) - Setback On July 31st, my recovery took a hard hit. My surgical wound unexpectedly opened, which was not only painful but required urgent care. The doctors found an infection in the wound that also affected the surgical hardware. This news crushed me and my family. Now, I must undergo more surgeries to address the infection. This makes the already challenging recovery even tougher and increases the financial strain. Considering this, we've adjusted our LFEBridge goal to cover the new costs. But I’m not giving up. Every day, I'm reminded of the supportive community around me. Your encouragement keeps me going through this tough time. Whether you've donated, sent kind words, or just kept me in your thoughts, I’m grateful. Facing these new challenges, I remain hopeful and resilient. Recovery comes with setbacks, but with your unwavering support, I believe I can overcome them and regain my health. Thank you for being there for me. Your kindness has made a profound difference, and I'll always be grateful. Together, we'll get past this challenge and move forward.
