On Fathers Day June 18, 2024 Andrew was doused with gasoline and set on fire. The aftermath of this brutal attack has been devastating. Andrew sustained severe burn injuries on 87% of his body. Andrew's road to recovery has been filled with immense pain, emotional trauma, extensive around the clock care and a long journey ahead. However, he remains determined to regain his health and conquer whatever challenges lie ahead. Prior to this tragic incident, Andrew was the breadwinner of his family, tirelessly providing and taking care of his loved ones. However, due to the extent of his injuries, he is now unable to work and provide for his family during this critical time. Moreover, the financial burden of Andrew’s necessary medical care has put additional strain on his already overwhelmed family. Physical therapy, transportation to and from the doctors/hospital, future surgeries and or procedures and around the clock care just to name a few.
