My sister Victoria is a dedicated single mom who, after fighting MDS for ten years and supporting her daughter in spite of her disability, has now been diagnosed with colon cancer. During this development and the changes that come with it, Victoria is physically unable to work and needs assistance with the everyday things like getting groceries for herself and her daughter and paying rent. She and her ten-year-old daughter love video games, snuggle sessions, movie nights, and their three cats: Garfield, Mochi, and Maki. Growing up, she was always the one I would turn to when I needed help with something, and she would always take me swimming or to the mall... and occasionally buy me secret treats at the corner store. She would do anything for me and my brother. Victoria's always been the type to help others, but now she is unable to do the things she enjoys and take care of the loved ones in her life.
