My daughter is a single mom raising an autistic son. She has struggled and gone without so my grandson gets what he needs. She had been a server since he was born. Earlier this year she got an entry level job at a bank in order to spend more time and weekends with him. She lives in Santa Rosa and commutes to Petaluma for her job. This past Tuesday her clunker car finally died. Her bank gave her a small emergency loan of $500. She lives check to (almost) next check. We help where we can, but being on social security we hardly ever have money to help, so we help by watching our grandson so she can go to work. We cannot find a car that runs for$500. Also, with my grandson having appointments and therapies to attend it is becoming so difficult for her. She is even trying to get weekend work at the restaurant where she last worked just to make extra money to be able to get a car that won't leave them stranded on the road. She would then be working 7 days/week, would not get to be with her son as much as he needs her to be and he is quite challenging. He has many needs. I am hoping I can get her some help. She is such a responsible young woman, she goes out of her way to help those in need but now she needs a hand. It would mean the world to her and I can't think of a more deserving family than her and her son. Thank you. (The pictures are of my daughter and my grandson)
