On July 6th our mutual pal Steve Cooper suffered a pretty serious and complex brain aneurysm. Then a few days later, he suffered a stroke. He has undergone several brain operations so far. He will be in the intensive care unit for several more weeks at best, and physical therapy in the coming months to help regain his lost strength. As you can imagine the Cooper's are getting a substantial hit financially with Shannon Keen-Cooper staying close by the hospital in New Orleans, insurance deductibles, the therapy, and other related costs. This is where we all can help! Steve has brought laughter to us all, bought most of us drinks, and helped many of us when we needed it. He has brought laughter to us all with his infamous CNN (Coops New Network) our cut and pasts insults (mostly to me!) and his Mia Duck updates. I ask that we show our gratitude and love for the Coops by chipping in, big or small, to relieve them of the financial stress. PLEASE! Let's help Steve to focus on his recovery and not worry about the bills. I know he will be humbled by what I predict will be a tremendous outpouring of help. I appeal to everyone that is on his friends list to send the Coops something today. Help us to spread the word. Just pretend you are buying him a shot and a beer. Several if you can!
