My name is Phillip Gladney.I grew up in Portugal Cove,for any of you who dont know me my parents were Francis & Rita Gladney ( Hynes)raised 11 children, me being the youngest, 8 sisters Maureen,Leona, Rita,Marie,Carolann,Catherine,Ang,Liz, brothers Martin,Michael. Ive been diagnosed with ALS Lou Gehrigs disease , with this disease I have a life expectancy of two to five years. I am a candidate to have a stem cell transplant done in the USA on the 12th of November 2015, this procedure will cost $50.000 plus and it is not covered under any of my insurances etc. With this treatment my life can be prolonged for several years and allow me to live a normal life.This has to be done while I am still in the early stages. I am asking for your help in helping me get my life back to normality . I am thanking everyone in advance for your generosity in helping me with this long journey.
