Hi! My name is John Moreno and I'm a veteran of South Carolina’s Seacoast Church Men’s Hike. For those who don’t know, the Men’s Hike is a transformative experience designed to take time to unplug, get away, and connect with God. Regular training meetings help prepare you to hit the trail, and get you ready for adventure and growth. For many, it’s a life-changing experience. It was for me. I was a Christian man without a relationship with the Lord before the hike. Since, I’ve become the husband, father, friend, and spiritual leader I was called to be. Today, I’m seeking to plant the hike at my new church in Southern California (North Coast). I searched long and wide and found nothing like the hike experience Seacoast offered its men’s ministry. I felt called to do something about that. In October 2024 I will be taking three fellow faith-based leaders with me to South Carolina so that they can experience ‘the hike’ first hand as we prepare to lead our church’s Men’s Hike. We ask you prayerfully consider donating to assist us in purchasing airfare required for our travel. Can’t donate? That’s ok. Please pray for us as we seek to do the Lord’s will. If we can reach just one man- he can change the world. Or maybe just be the man his family needs him to be.
