If you've been fortunate to meet Tanya Tillman and experience her angelic spirit and genuine caring heart, you know that she is indeed one of a kind. She lights up every room she enters and has a way of leaving a lasting impression. On March 10, 2024, Tanya was diagnosed with Stage 2B Acral Melanoma, a rare skin cancer. While doctors have been successful in removing the tumor and stabilizing her condition, she still has a long road to a full recovery. Tanya has endured countless tests, medical evaluations, hospital stays and surgical procedures over the past few months. Her medical care team has prescribed extensive care and observations for the next few years, as Acral Melanoma is very aggressive and has a high recurrence rate. Navigating the road to recovery has been difficult and continues to be a very extensive journey for Tanya and her family.
