Karen Wilkin is an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Unfortunately, Karen had a brain tumor removed 4 years ago. That one thankfully was benign. However, on Tuesday October 13th Karen was getting ready to leave for work when she began to feel a tingling in her face. She knew something was wrong but wasn't sure what it was. Karen got in her vehicle to head to the nearest hospital 30 minutes away. In the meantime her left hand crippled up and started shaking. She made it safely to the hospital, but was told she had a seizure on her way in. They took her back to get a CT scan to find another Brain Tumor. She transported her to University of Michigan. Upon her stay from Tues - Thurs at the U they determined they needed to do surgery on that tumor. On October 22nd they did surgery. However, they only took out 80% of the tumor as they realized how bad it was. Karen is now fighting for her life with Brain Cancer. They have said she has 3 month-18 months. She will start Radiation and Chemotherapy in 1-2 weeks. However, she will no longer be able to work and the bills will pile up. Can we please gather around and help this courageous woman during her battle? Please give what you want to help her and spread to all your friends.
