As most of you know by now from the previous emails, very recently Stacy (from Marinwood Market) was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She will be having a complete hysterectomy this Friday, October 30th. Post surgery she will not be able to work for 6-8 weeks. Although we were saddened by her news, we are hopeful that in true Marinwood spirt, we will help a friend in need as she fights to be cured.Stacy is a wonderful person who always has a BIG smile on her face! She is kind and really is a pleasure to be around. Right now she needs all of us to surround her with our acts of kindness during this difficult time.Not only is Stacy a dedicated employee at the market, she is also the caregiver for her father. She lives with him and helps to take care of him, so there is an added need for outside help for both of them during her recovery. Currently she doesn't have insurance coverage through her employer, but does have insurance. However, just her deductible alone ($6250), and her medical expenses are a huge part of the funds being requested. In addition, she just found out this week that the anesthesiologist piece of her procedure won't be covered by the insurance, so please help in whatever way you can now to help offset the burden for her as she is in recovery. It is always so amazing to watch our community come together during times like these, so any and all help you could give is going to be so greatly appreciated and will come back to you. All of these funds (100%) will go to help Stacy with her medical expenses and her post surgery living expenses until she can get back to the market to share her beautiful smile!Additionally, Stacy would LOVE to have meals brought to her home after the surgery, as well as additional errands run.
