It's been... a rough week. I was at the OBGYN getting a final check up for the miscarriage I'm currently going through when my partner got hit by an SUV while on his bicycle (he was on his way to get medicine for me from the pharmacy). He was going across a cyclist crossing with right of way and the SUV did not stop and hit him, so Zeus was thrown several feet from his bike. His bicycle was totaled (RIP Emerald Justice), and he has sustained nerve damage in his neck and back according to his doctor, as well as extensive bruising across his side and front. He is unable to walk without assistance and requires help with most daily tasks. Sitting, standing, and lying down are all positions that leave him in additional pain. He also has a wound over one of his tattoos so it's likely damaged as well (RIP Poliwhirl). Even his phone (which we use to film most of the work we do) sustained damage to the screen and lenses. I have been taking care of him since the accident. He is unable to do almost any of his usual work, and this means I'll be out of work as well since most of our content creation is done as a team. We are looking for funds to assist us until we can return to normal work, so that we can cover medical expenses, living expenses, and bills for the forseeable future. Including any medical bills we have to pay out of pocket as most insurance only covers 80%. Thank you for any help you can provide - even sharing is a big help!
