We are so excited for our friends Shelby and Rachel who are starting the process of growing their family through adoption! We wanted to bless them in one of the ways we could by creating this page to help them with some financial barriers to adoption. The average adoption cost in the United States is $30,000-$60,000. The expenses cover everything from home study, agency fees, matching fees, medical bills, travel, living expenses for birth parents, and more. Here is their story: For those of you who don’t know us, Shelby and I (Rachel) were married in October of 2018 and started trying to grow our family in December of 2024. We tried some fertility treatments but have been unsuccessful in conceiving. After much prayer, we have decided to grow our family through adoption and cannot wait to become first-time parents! Adoption has always been special to us and a part of our plan since Shelby was adopted by his dad. Adoption is a beautiful thing, but the process can be overwhelming, especially with the expenses and fees. One of the best ways you could support us on this journey is through prayer, but we also appreciate financial blessings.
