Hello! My name is Felix Rivera and I'm raising funds to go on a mission trip to Southeast Asia.Every year, WMI , the World Mission Initiative sends a group to Southeast Asia (as well as to various other locales): "This trip will continue to build on WMI's long-standing relationship with an unreached people group in a country in South East Asia. Participants will meet with Christian leaders in their villages, learn about their ministry challenges, and provide support and training. The group will also connect with students preparing for ministry in a major city. Rev. Don Dawson, director of the World Mission Initiative, will lead this team."My hope in going on this mission trip is to gain some wisdom from those for whom devotion to Christ is much more costly. In keeping with the stated aim of the trip, I also want to learn how to minister by simply being in relationship with people--seeking to know and be with them first and foremost. Lastly, this is my first mission trip and I believe God is teaching me how to ask for help. So, I invite you--If this seems like a worthwhile venture please pray and consider giving.If 100 people gave $15, I'd be set.
