Hi my name is Randi. I am a single mom of beautiful 9 year old daughter. Life has been extremely challenging for us for about 2 years now and just when we find our way out of the hole we get knocked down again. I started getting seizures and because of one I suffered 2 broken shoulders which prevented me from working for almost 2 years. I cannot lift my arms higher than my breast line and I do hair for a living. After getting denied for disability repeatedly I pushed through the pain and went back to a salon. About 3 months back I suffered another seizure and totaled my car. If that wasn’t enough 1 month later I had another seizure and broke my foot which needed surgery and almost cracked my skull putting me out of work once again. Even though the vehicle is totaled, I have not received the final payment so I am still having to make payments on it as well as the payment for new used vehicle and insurance I am now driving.I had to pull my daughter out of summer camp because my bank account literally had nothing left. I am down to $3.38. I had my surgery last week but cannot return to work for another 6 weeks. I try to tell myself there are other people much worse off than I am but that doesn’t help me pay bills or raise my child. I have tried everything and I’m out of option which is why I am now reaching out and humbled. Anything helps when you do not have anything.
