Hi, my name is Monique Griffith and I am raising money for my friend, Sherry Honeycutt, whom I have known for many years through the scrapbooking and Cricut community. Sherry is a single mom, and a grieving mom, as well as an abuse and trauma survivor who has been through more than I can imagine, and yet through it all, she has always been super encouraging to me and many others, even regularly donating stuffed animals to kids in a children’s hospital in memory of her young daughter, Macy, who she lost in a house fire several years ago. Because of that fire, Sherry suffers from Interstitial Lung Disease caused by the smoke inhalation. She’s also dealing with many other health issues, including hypertension, Hashimoto’s Disease, asthma, angioedema, and autoimmune dermatitis. These conditions limit her ability to work, but Sherry has been powering through to the best of her ability. However, her health issues have been catching up to her and she has fallen on some pretty tough times. My goal here is to get her through these tough few months so she can take care of herself and her kids, get her monthly expenses and rent caught up and then be able to get back on her feet. If you are at all able, I would personally be very thankful for any contribution - literally even if it’s just a few bucks. It can add up to make an incredible difference for a kindhearted mom who just needs a hand up right now. Also, please share this as much as you can.
