Our friend Shirey is about to face several life saving surgeries in Houston. She will also be facing a ton of challenges as she recovers for 6-9 weeks after returning from Houston. Some of these surgeries are extremely extensive & one has never been done before. Sadly not everything will be covered by insurance. Her and her husband Ken will also have to pay out of pocket for travel expenses, places to stay, parking, after care etc. Needless to say the list goes on! To say this will be costly is an understatement! If you know Shirey, she would give you the shirt off her back and has probably has helped or done something kind for each of you reading this! She won’t ask for help! So I am asking for everyone to gather together and surround her & Ken with your love! If we all can even give a dollar or a few it will help this beautiful couple to ease the hurdles that they now find themselves facing. She has already been through so many obstacles and surgeries in her life. Please consider sending her some love to show her just how much we love & appreciate her during this extremely difficult time. Join me in lifting her up as she faces these difficult circumstances. If you can’t give to the fund, that’s okay! Show her in other way’s your love & concern for her. We all know things are tight for everyone! She would I’m sure welcome prayers, help around the house when they get back, a food train, visits, any way you find in your heart to just lift her up a little! God is good! We know she will pull through! So let’s just gather together as it takes a village sometimes to face hardships & let’s help ease her path!
