Hi All, I’m Sebastian Alderete, and as some of you may know, on July 7th, I was a passenger in a severe automobile accident that left me with a brain bruise, three fractures in my skull, three broken ribs, five fractured vertebrae, and a fractured hip. I have no doubt that a Guardian Angel watching over me is the reason I survived. I was ejected from the truck I was riding passenger in, the truck rolled over, and then caught fire. I was found unresponsive on the ground and two friends pulled me away from the fire. After EMS arrived, I was transported to the hospital and was under intensive and acute care for a full week where dedicated, kind doctors, nurses, and technicians took diligent care of me. I am blessed to now be home with loved ones to recuperate, but I am wheelchair bound and cannot work for the next 6-8 weeks while I recover from my injuries. I am grateful to be healing little by little each day, and I am truly blessed to still walk this earth amongst my friends and family who love me so much and root for me unconditionally. I’m a testimony to how strong the power of prayer can be, that’s for sure! Needless to say, expenses are stacking up, and along with focusing on getting better, I’m not sure how I’ll be able to cover medical and living expenses during my short-term disability.
