Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters, My name is Carla and I’m Scott’s sister-in-law. Today, I am reaching out to you on behalf of Scott Miller, who has been fighting a rare and debilitating disease called Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). Scott needs our support to manage the mounting medical expenses, and we believe that together, we can make a difference in his life. CIDP is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks the body's own nerves, causing progressive weakness and loss of sensation in the arms and legs. The path to diagnosis and effective treatment can be long and arduous, and Scott has been battling this disease for years. Scott's primary treatment was an IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) infusion, a procedure that requires a transfusion of healthy antibodies from donors to help bolster his immune system. Unfortunately, the cost of each infusion is a staggering $9,000, and Scott needs these treatments monthly to maintain his strength and prevent further nerve damage. He just lost health insurance and benefits from work. In an effort to alleviate the financial burden on Scott, we have set up a LFEBridge campaign with a goal of raising enough funds to cover his treatments and other health related costs for one year. The goal is to raise $25,000 minimum. We know that times are tough for many, but if you can spare even a small amount to support Scott's fight against CIDP, your generosity will have a tremendous impact on his life. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will help ease the financial strain on Scott and his family during this difficult time. Please consider sharing this campaign with your network of friends, family, and colleagues. The more people we can reach, the greater the chances are that we can reach our goal and provide Scott with the life-saving treatment he needs. We sincerely appreciate your support, and we will be sure to keep you updated on Scott's progress throughout his journey. With heartfelt gratitude, His Family P.S. To stay informed about Scott's journey and the progress of our fundraising efforts, please join us back here. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can make a difference!
