Hi Everyone My name is Dyane MacKinnon and along with my neighbors on Niagara Street in Burbank, Eryn, Rafael and Gina, we are embarking on a venture to save our beautiful street from destruction by the Parks & Rec department of the city of Burbank. We are not sure why Parks & Rec have anything to do with a residential street, but that is something we plan to find out as we unravel exactly what is happening at city hall regarding the deforestation of the city of Burbank. We are talking to a lawyer who specializes in environmental issues and is currently working with residents of Beverly Hills and Stockton to save their neighborhoods from the same thing. I know times are really tough right now, some of us are on fixed incomes and some are out of work due to strikes in the entertainment industry, but we do need legal representation, and the best and most efficient way to ensure we are heard and that the city has to come to us before they do anything regarding our street now and in the future, is to have a lawyer help us form an unincorporated association and get an immediate injunction to stop the current issue to cut all our trees down. If we all put $2 or $5 in, we can save our street and ensure we have a voice in the future!
