Friends of Winooski Preservation is working with Britta Tonn to save the St. Stephen's Building on Barlow Street in Winooski, VT. Britta is a preservation planner at VHB and has been working to stop the demolition of St. Stephen's since January of 2024. In March 2024, Britta won an appeal to the Winooski Development Review Board to stop the demolition of St. Stephen's, but St. Francis Church has subsequently appealed to overturn the DRB's decision with the State Superior Court's Environmental Division. We need your support to keep our efforts going to stop the demolition of this historic structure. Please join us in our legal fight to save this building.
