My dear cousin Sara Carrasco (who lives in Midland but who must be in DFW for specialized medical care) is going through a difficult time. She previously had what was said to be a non cancerous tumor and it was believed to have been removed. Apparently it wasn’t. It is back after 7 years and the new growth is pressing upon her optic nerve causing blindness. She has her parents doing what they can to help her but she also has three kids and the hotel and food expenses get out of hand quickly. I’m asking for your prayers for her as well as any help anyone can give to make this event less financially difficult for her and her parents. Because she will also need to stay for radiation after her upcoming brain surgery - and her kids and parents are going to have to stay in DFW for an extended timeframe - I’m hoping to raise $20,000. In addition to not being able to work, obviously, she also has rent to keep current at home (or lose a place to come home to). It’s all very scary in every way. Anything at all that anyone can help with will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your prayers and for your support.
