Hi folks, my name is Sammie. Safe Haven wanted me to tell you my story because they are needing some help. See, I was out wandering the streets and got hit by a car. My pelvis was broken and it was scary. I ended up being taken to a local shelter and because I was so painful, I got a little snappy with the people trying to help me. At the shelter they had to keep me because I bit my helpers so I was in that scary place waiting to make sure I didn’t have rabies for just over 20 days. My broken pelvis hurt a lot and it was very scary. But then, someone from Safe Haven showed up and took me out of there. They got me help from Dr. Dustin Brown and the Animal Emergency Center. They are going to be able to fix me but it is going to cost money. Can you help me get the relief from the pain and be on my way to a forever home that will keep me safe?
