Sadly, our dear friend and classmate, Sam Caggiano '96, passed away on 5/28/2024. Sam treasured her years at Ursinus College and was a talented athlete having competed in gymnastics and track & field. She learned many important life lessons through sport and developed friendships that she valued throughout her life. As her teammates, we are hoping to raise $9,000 to dedicate a hallway at the Floy Lewis Blakes Center in Sam's memory. This would be a space for athletes to gather before competition and would benefit Ursinus recruits. Any donation would be appreciated. We are hoping to fund this memorial by August 31, 2024. Please stay tuned for details regarding an event to dedicate the hallway and honor Sam during the first half of 2024. If we are able to collect more than the necessary amount for the hallway project, we will be donating the balance to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon and SW Washington.
