Thanks to a very very average,  misleading travel insurance policy... we need your help.On Monday the 12th  of October Ry awoke to a flat car battery. Still needing to get to work, he jumped on his push bike to race to work. A typical October day here in Whistler it was raining and the ground was covered in wet, pine needles. His tyre slipped and he fell hitting his head and shoulder. The hosptial confirmed the worst, a severly broken collar bone that requires surgery to be fixed. We were under the impression we were covered by or "annual" global, comprehensive travel insurance policy only to find out the day before the scheduled surgery that we will not be covered as it occured outside the 42 day time period that our "annual" policy states. So we are left to foot the $15,000 dollar private hospital bill to have Ry's right collar bone fixed. As a carpenter the correct function of his right arm is cruial.Any help would be apprecaited.Thank you
