Dear Rustgi Lab affiliates and friends! A very personalized and touching thank you gift has been commissioned for Anil for the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Rustgi Lab Celebration. On a trip to the Goto Islands of Nagasaki in April, Hiro had a serendipitous encounter with Japanese artist Tatsuyuki Murai, who was later commissioned to create a large portrait of Anil, surrounded by all of his friends and colleagues over the course of these 30 years of wonderful scientific research. It's a historical commemoration to the people and places that have been fortunate enough to cross paths with Anil during his illustrious career. If you would like to contribute to this thank you gift, donations can be made via the following LFEBridge link, created by Hiro, with a goal to raise $2,500 towards the gift. Any funds raised in excess of $2,500 will be used towards covering part of the cost for the anniversary event (e.g., dinner cruise).
