Hey, my name is Rowan. I am a 21 year old transgender man who has been living as male since the beginning of 2024. I have socially transitioned at university, work and at home but I am currently pre-medication. I am on the NHS waiting list for the adult gender clinic, although much like many others, I’d have to wait years to even arrange an initial assessment. Therefore, I wish to go privately as to start hormone replacement treatment (HRT) as soon as possible. I am starting this LFEBridge in order to raise money for HRT. I have gender dysphoria surrounding various parts of my body, but I believe that testosterone would alleviate my vocal and facial dysphoria in particular. I long to start this process so I can be one step closer to feeling like the life I am living is my own. I want to own my body and be proud of it so I can finally live for myself rather than other people. HRT would be extremely beneficial to both my mental and physical health. It will allow me to finally feel comfortable and at home in my own body, leading me to take better care of my overall health and wellbeing :) Any and all donations are extremely appreciated but just sharing this around is helpful, in hopes it reaches those who can. :) Thank you so much for reading, love Rowan.
