Ronans Journey 2 years old Ronan was born prematurely at 28 weeks weighing just 2lbs 5ozs, with his twin brother who we sadly lost to necrotising enterocolitis (NEC). We were told Ronan had cysts on the brain, to find out he had developed NEC twice. He was eventually transferred to London to receive life saving medical care where Ronan spent 105 days at the hospital receiving specialist care. Baby Ronan finally returned home to his family in Hastings after a very upsetting and distressing welcome to the world. Despite the joy of Ronan being home, our appointments were constantly being cancelled months on end. This resulted in us having to move to London to access better health care due to our later diagnoses of Ronan having Cerebral Palsy affecting all 4 limbs and causing him to have limited physical independence. Alice Oneil (Ronan Read’s Mummy) Sky Dive 2024 Joanne Ronans nan and Shannon his big cousin will be jumping a 7000ft skydive in May 2024 to raise money for Ronan to give him the best chance to meet milestones with the right physical equipment and supportive care which will change his life and gain him experiences we was once told wouldn’t be possible. But we won’t give up!! Thankyou for taking your time out to read up pls do share and donate if possible, we really do appreciate any kind of support we receive.
