Friends and family have encouraged us to set up this account in order to help pay for our medical expenses. In 2012 I was diagnosed with Cirrhosis caused by Hepatitis C. In June I was put on the list for a liver transplant. I was told that it would be at least 2 years before I could receive a liver because there are not enough livers for the thousand of people in need. But God is so good! He had a plan and placed it in the heart of a friend and co-worker named Jameson who is willing to make the sacrifice of enduring the risks and pain associated with a major surgery so that I can have a second chance at life! What a selfless and courageous man of God! Surgery is scheduled for November 9th at UCSF.My insurance will pay for both the donor's surgery and mine. The cost is between $500,000 and 1 million. My share of that is 20%. My hospital stay will be 7-10 days. All funds received will go directly to my wife, Karen, and me and will be used for food and lodging for my wife while I am in the hospital, gas for traveling (I will need to go back to UCSF every week for the 1st month and then several more times for the next 2 months after), and to cover hospital and Dr. bills.Thank you and may God richly bless you!Ron & Karen
