This November, I will be running the TCS New York City Marathon. In March 2024, my younger brother Patrick was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system which forms part of the body’s immune system. As his big sister, this news was terrifying to me and the rest of our family. Thankfully, due to work by remarkable researchers, Patrick entered remission after 6 months of chemotherapy. Now my brother and I want to give back to the type of research that made his Stage 4 diagnosis treatable and not a death sentence. We want everybody who faces the incredible difficulty of a cancer diagnosis to experience that same amazing feeling of beating it. That’s why we will each be running our first marathon this November fundraising for Cancer Research UK and American Cancer Society, to raise money for both these charities’ mission of eliminating cancer. I’ll be more than appreciative for donations of any size!  Please also share this page if you can. Thank you!
