Hi everyone! My name is Nikki and I am Eddie's "Jr" sister. I am coming to you, our friends and families, and asking for a little help. For those that know my brother and our family know we are close and are always there for each other. Over the last year, we have had some unexpected tragedies and medical hurdles. Recently, Jr was diagnosed with heart failure. He has always been very private about his health and has tried to manage it to the best of his ability. Unfortunately, he is at a point where his body has taken such a beating, he must pay attention to it now. In order to do this he will not be able to work as his line of work is very taxing on the body. It is because of this we are asking for help. I would love to raise enough money for him so he does not have to worry about working and can focus on his health. Focusing on his health requires strict adherence to a special diet, fluid restriction and constant monitoring of his blood pressure, blood sugars and weight. Any deviation from his plan of care could result in an emergency room visit or worse. I am not ready to lose my brother. He is committed to getting better and I am confident he will but it won't be without help. If you know him or have ever been in his presence, you know he is a kind and generous soul. He always goes above and beyond to help people in need; from giving them rides to clothes to money or even to just listen to their struggles. He is a hard worker who is always willing to do any job (even the nasty ones) if he knows it will make your life easier. Please consider helping and sharing.
