Greetings everyone I am the cousin of Mr. DeAndre Leonard who was shot last November 2024 at his home in Buffalo New York. Deandre suffered life-threatening injuries that resulted in various surgeries to preserve his life. DeAndre has made a remarkable recovery but has a ways to go for a full recovery from the injuries. Before this violent attempt on his life, DeAndre was a vibrant professional young man with a thriving career in the New York State Department of Corrections with a superb future ahead of him. DeAndre is a father of two young sons that he supported emotionally, physically, and financially. Although his life has been disrupted by this vicious and heinous attack we believe in the possibility of an optimal future to regain self-sufficiency to care for himself Independently and his children with additional health support. On behalf of the DeAndre friends and family, we are requesting support to cover the financial burdens of health-related needs.
