As many of you may have seen, we experienced a catastrophic storm here at Bulldog. Three of the eight cabins were destroyed and the other five obtained severe water damage. Water lines were washed out, septic systems destroyed, and the road getting in was completely impassable. The little stream that many of you have spent years enjoying the sound of at night rerouted across the lawn and left a six foot deep trench to the lake. The lawn now resembles a boulder field and the lake is filled with debris. Anyone that has been to Bulldog or knows my dad, knows that he would do anything for anyone and that he would never ask for (and will have a difficult time accepting) any assistance. He has spent the last 18 years turning this place into the beautiful destination that it is and I can’t imagine it all going to waste but unfortunately, insurance is not going to cover any of the damage or lost revenue. I know that there are a tremendous amount of people out there that would want to help him get the place fixed up as well as be able to return to Bulldog in the future. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
