Hi my name is Marketo, and I love leading people in worship and pouring my passion out to the Lord. I play a few instruments, but if you've seen me leading worship, I almost always use my Nord keyboard. She goes everywhere with me! It's been having problems for the past several years and I finally found an authorized repair shop! They found the issue with my keyboard and it's not good. It needs a new motherboard and a new keybed. Tech thinks the USB and other components were fried when I plugged it into bad power. They say Nords almost never break, but when they do it's quite expensive because the parts come from Sweden, and since COVID they've tripled in price. So we're looking at nearly $2000 in parts, plus labor and the price of a power conditioner. Good news is I invested in gear insurance a few months ago, so I'm now covered for such things. Sadly, this happened before that so we're left with the bill. A friend of mine encouraged me to tell people in case they would like to contribute to the repair. I am very grateful to have a husband that values what I do and is willing to sacrifice so we can get it fixed. Gil and my parents gave me this incredible keyboard for my 40th birthday.
