I'm Ren, a nb trans masc welshie living in cardiff, and for as long as I can remember I've been uncomfortable living w/ my chest. I've started HRT and changed my name, and have lived the last 4 (ish?!) years of my life affirming my gender and presenting the way I have always wanted to, and this feels like the next step for me. top surgery feels like a distant sort of dream, but I know I need it, and with all your help fundraising, as well as my own savings and fundraising gigs, I can one day be tiddy-less and feel more like myself in my body. this will seriously alter the way I live my life; from getting dressed in the morning, to being comfortable while doing my job (I film and edit, and doing this while binding has begun to impact my body), it'll just change the way I live every day. I'm planning to get it done privately in the UK as it stands, and this funding goal is set in line with that (inc. appointments and consultations, and living support during recovery), all funds will go directly towards this, and anything leftover will go towards other people's top surgery fundraisers!! thanks so much for reading and for any donations. i really truly appreciate it. and thanks to finley, my lovely mate, for setting this up for me; they know I am terrible at getting this life admin done and will put it off and off and off, and doing this was the loveliest bday present ever xo
