Dear friends and loved ones, I’m writing this because our sweet niece Bailey Remokitis has ended up hospitalized after months of weight loss and stomach pain. After many tests and transfers to two different hospitals a large abscess has been found in Baileys lower intestines. She is currently on high dose iv antibiotics to try to get the infection under control. Once this happens she will undergo an exploratory procedure looking for possible Crohn’s disease or the root cause of her issues. Bailey is set to attend college in Tennessee this coming fall after working so hard throughout high school. Right now she should be spending quality time with friends and family and prepping for college but unfortunately is stuck at the hospital for the at least another week along with follow up care afterwards. Her mom Jill is currently using PTO days but those days are running out and she is not sure how many days she will need to take off to care for Bailey for follow up care. Bailey's father Steve is not able to be with them due to the hospital being 3 hours away, he has also missed days at work while holding down the fort at home and taking care of Baileys little sister Alison. I am asking that if you are able to please consider a donation to help the family supplement this lost income and any possible medical expenses that may not be covered.
