Vermont is currently underwater. We are a resilient bunch, but resiliency comes at a cost. Red Poppy Cakery launched in 2019 and since then has had to brave a global pandemic, construction of a new space, and now a flood. Our heart breaks for everyone in our Brave Little State during this ongoing and unprecedented crisis. I am so grateful for the kind words, the thoughts and prayers, and the genuine offers to help. The problem is we can't start assessing the damage or creating an action plan while we are still underwater. This is a tangible way our community can come together and give us the best chance to reopen quickly. We pledge to give any excess funds to our neighbors and friends recovering along with us.
