Hi! My name is Athena (they/them/she/her), and you may have recently seen that I needed funds for my gender-affirming top surgery. Thanks to the generous support of friends, acquaintances, and my online communities, I was able to just barely pay for my top surgery. Surgery went well and so far recovery is going great. I have a couple of wonderful friends who are taking extremely good care of me while I only have little t-rex arms for a few weeks! Unfortunately, in the process of pursuing top surgery, I accrued some last-minute debts and expenses to pay for my surgery. This fund will help me repay those debts and take the time off that I need to recover- allowing me to pay for rent, utilities, and food during this time.
