Dear friends, neighbors, and fellow community members, We come to you today with heavy hearts, seeking your support in the aftermath of a devastating flood that has heavily damaged our beloved children's clothing store, Zutano Outlet Store , owned by Sylvia Thompson. July 11, 2024, our vibrant town of Montpelier, Vermont, was inundated by a severe flood that caused significant damage to Sylvia's store, leaving it under nearly four feet of contaminated muddy water and in a state of total disarray. For over three decades, the Zutano store has been a cherished fixture in our downtown community, providing families with high-quality, stylish clothing for the little ones who brighten our lives. Sylvia's passion for dressing children in comfortable and fashionable outfits, combined with her warm and welcoming nature, has made this store a hub of love and care for generations of kids. In the aftermath of the flood, the losses and damages incurred have been immense. The floodwaters wreaked havoc on the store, inventory, fixtures, and equipment essential for day-to-day operations. It's a painful blow. However, in the face of this adversity, we have been incredibly fortunate to witness the true spirit of our community. Countless volunteers, selflessly giving their time and energy, have rallied together to help Sylvia and our town salvage what they could from the wreckage and begin the process of rebuilding. Their dedication and unwavering support have shown us the power of unity and the resilience of our little town. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the volunteers who have dedicated their time and efforts to help us in this time of need. Your kindness and compassion have touched our hearts and reinforced our belief in the power of community. Now, we turn to you, our extended community, for your assistance. We have launched this LFEBridge campaign to help Sylvia and the Zutano Outlet Store overcome the enormous financial burden caused by the flood. Your generous donations will enable us to restore the store to its former glory, replenish damaged inventory, replace essential equipment, and make the necessary repairs to ensure a safe and inviting space for the children and families who rely on us. No contribution is too small, as every dollar brings us closer to our goal of preserving the Zutano Outlet Store as a beacon of joy and love for Montpelier's children and families. Your support will make a tangible difference, not only in the survival of a small business, but in preserving a place where cherished memories are woven into the fabric of our community. Additionally, we kindly ask you to share this campaign with your friends, family, and networks to help us reach a wider audience who might also be willing to lend their support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, love, and unwavering support. With heartfelt gratitude, Betsy Thompson (Sylvia's sister) and the Zutano Outlet Store Community
