We come to you today with a heavy heart to share our concern for someone very dear to so many who is currently facing a challenging and life-threatening battle. Elise Liang, also known as “TK”, a devoted single mother, sister and friend is in the battle of her life. We are all familiar with the hardships of cancer and the destruction it brings. This journey for Elise has been one of turmoil. She has shown incredible strength and resilience in the face of this disease. However, the ongoing expenses that come along with this illness have placed an overwhelming burden on her and her family’s shoulders. These expenses include; physician-recommended treatment such as radiation and chemotherapy, medication, travel expenses for specialized consultations and treatments, experimental therapies, essential care that could enhance her well-being, living arrangements and basic everyday necessities. Even with health insurance coverage, the out-of-pocket costs are steadily accumulating and leaving her in financial distress. Those who know Elise know that she is not the type to ask for help in any way. As her health continues to deteriorate the urgency for those treatments becomes extremely crucial to provide her with the absolute best possible care and chance to prolong and improve her quality of life. Because she won't do it, we, her friends and family have set up his campaign on her behalf. It is our goal to raise these funds in hopes to alleviate some of her financial burden and stress. We understand that times are tough for everyone and any contribution you can make is genuinely appreciated. There is NO amount too big or small. Your support will directly impact Elise's life in so many ways. This has been and will continue to be a very long and hard journey for her.
