As salaam wa alaykum, my name is Ayesha. I’d like to take this opportunity to reach out to you all in order to raise some money as a form of Sadqah-Jariah for my late grandmother. My grandmother sadly passed away 2 months ago, and left behind a family of kids and grandkids who miss her very much. My grandmother was a very charitable woman, over the years she has contributed to many charities and any form of help she could provide she did so wholeheartedly. So that we can continue to provide her with rewards in the afterlife, we ask all our brothers and sisters to donate in order for us to build water wells in Bangladesh for the most poor. The gift of water saves lives, which is a hugely rewardable action. Allah says in the Qur’an, ‘And whoever saves one [a life] - it is as if he had saved all of mankind’. (Qur’an, 5:32) Imagine this - every single time the clean water you donated saves someone’s life, it is as if you have saved all of mankind! As much or as little as you can give will be highly appreciated and will be remembered in our duas. Jazak’Allah
