Hey, it's Arty of Arty's Corporate Fiction on YouTube. In early June, my cat Archer was diagnosed with lymphoma on his face. He's being treated at UPenn Veterinary Hospital. He has gone through 2 of 10 radiation treatments so far and he's been responding well! However, a unique issue with Archer is that the lymphoma started in or right next to the bone. And as the tumor is receding thanks to the prednisone and radiation, bone is now exposed inside his mouth. So even after radiation treatment is successful, he may need surgery to close the hole (fistula) that is in his mouth. Because of this, the estimated cost of his treatment is going to be much higher than what was given to me. I have had the support of my community and family to remain above water, but with each radiation treatment estimated to be approximately $500 per day, any assistance would be appreciated. This goal would cover most of his radiation treatment. The surgery will likely be at least $1500 more, but I'm not including that.
