Hey everyone, Last summer, Charlie Mckee and Raisa Mulder (of Lezlinkup) partnered up to shoot a Photography project centered around the nuance and diversity of intimacy within the queer community. Charlie and Raisa invited 6 other talented queer photographers and over thirty inspiring queer individuals and couples to participate and be captured in their own explorations of what intimacy means to them. It was such a beautiful day to experience so much openness, love, vulnerability, care, and community. Why Intimacy? Intimacy is often associated solely with sexual or romantic relationships, but I firmly believe that it goes far beyond that. It serves as the foundation for building meaningful connections on every level. During this transformative photoshoot, we explored various facets of intimacy. From self-intimacy, where individuals expressed their innermost selves through holding flowers or embracing their surgery scars, to couples pushing boundaries and embracing taboo subjects like kink, as well as heartwarming displays of tenderness and serenity. Now, we need your support to bring this project to life through the Queer Intimacy Festival. Yes, a festival! The exhibition space will not only showcase the stunning photographs from the photoshoot but also serve as a venue for workshops on intimacy, wellness, education, and art. Additionally, we will host an unforgettable opening party featuring talented queer DJs and performers. It is our utmost priority to ensure that this space remains accessible to everyone, which is why we aim to keep ticket prices affordable and seek other means of funding the project. We genuinely appreciate any help you can provide. Your contribution will not only support the exhibition but also foster a sense of community and empowerment within the queer community. Together, we can celebrate the beauty of intimacy and create a space that encourages meaningful connections. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and support. With love and gratitude, Charlie McKee & Rasia Mulder with Lezlinkup YOU CAN ALSO SUPPORT BY GETTING A TICKET
