please help to give my 3 and a half year old toddler the POWER of SPEECH! She is non verbal and on the waiting list for an autism diagnosis which can take up to 18months. She is an absolute blessing, needing to be blessed! The most heartbreaking thing, Is not being able to give your toddler a chance! Shes just a beautiful but frustrated little girl, trying to figure it out, and wanting her voice heard! She currently does not qualify to receive one to one sessions through the NHS- Speech and Language Service. Yet, Studies have shown that Early intervention is best in creating the most effective outcomes. Along with others, She is being failed by the system! She has been attending weekly 1-1 privately owned speech therapy sessions- making amazing progress enabling her to learn strategies, techniques and to build confidence to use speech. I’m now trying to raise funds to help this continue. Any help, big or small- will help to create an opportunity. An opportunity to give her the best start in life- a voice, and an understanding of the world around her. The POWER OF SPEECH!
