Hello! My name is Diana Cole and I'm fundraising on behalf of my beloved son, Arlanders "Shun" Cole! Shun was a victim of gun violence on Friday, July 21, 2024, while visiting a friend. He was shot 4 times in his back and left for dead. As a result, Shun has undergone multiple surgeries which included two surgeries to repair his heart. He has been fighting to survive ever since. While some progress has been made with his overall health, there is still much more progress to be made in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead. This has certainly been an unforeseen circumstance that no parent could ever prepare for but I'm thankful my son is still with me and fighting to survive. Though I am full of gratitude and gratefulness, I come to you seeking financial support. This fundraiser will help to cover Shun's medical bills, treatments, many surgeries, and other healthcare expenses as he journeys back to a full recovery. This process has not been easy for me or my family but I (we) appreciate everyone who has offered words of encouragement, kind thoughts, and loving prayers for my son, Shun. We truly appreciate you! My only hope now is to get my son healthy, well, and back home where he belongs.
