Michael Moreno was a beloved member of the Healthcare in Action team. His passing is a deep loss for our organization, our Inland Empire counterparts and his family. Michael joined the Healthcare in Action team in February 2024 to build our program in San Bernardino. He was an amazing teammate who was always the first to offer support to his team and our patients. Michael loved working in service of the unhoused population and he was able to build strong relationships with every person he met. This money will all go to support Michael's family -- he is survived by his wife, Maria, and two children.
