I’m reaching out to those who understand what it’s like to have a medical need that’s not covered by insurance. My daughter’s best friend, Briley, is 13 years old and was just diagnosed with scoliosis, not mild, but severe. There is not a once size fits all for scoliosis. In order to meet Briley’s needs, a Scoliosis-specific therapy has been designed for her using multiple types of treatment to get the most desirable outcome possible, beginning with a 10 day @ 8 hours per day, intensive treatment sessions. She will have a custom made corrective brace she must wear 21 hours per day for 18 months. All of these therapies, doctor visits and care (that require travel), custom brace, etc., are very expensive and not covered by insurance. Her father is a firefighter and works 2 and 3 extra jobs to meet the needs of his family, and his wife homeschools their 3 daughters. They are a family who serve God and their fellow man. They are always giving of themselves to their family, friends, church, work, and even strangers in need. Please help them in their time of need. This is a call to action! I am asking all of my friends and family to please stop what your doing and donate to this family. You will help change this little girls life!
