Hi. My name is Frankie Commans Jr. On 04/27 of this year I was laid off from work. On Memorial Day 05/29, I went in for emergency surgery to remove an inflammed gallbladder. On 06/15 I was back in the emergency room with a swollen gut and internal infection which had to be drained. Further testing showed a clip on my bile duct had been left on and on 06/21 I underwent a second surgery to correct this issue. I came home from the hospital on 06/24 with a 6 inch scar across my stomach and am healing well. I would like to give a big shout out to Dr. Thomas Chaly and his team, the surgeon who saved my life. Unfortunately, I was unable to interview for any positions or persue any job opportunities for over two weeks. We have also exhausted our savings during this time. My wife, Dana, has continued to work as much as she could during this time but, her pay alone is not enough to sustain us from month to month and unemployment benefits are less than $200 a week. Dana has been my rock throughout this turmoil and I can't express enough how much I want to get back to being the bread winner and taking care of her the way she deserves. I have some interviews lined-up for next week and am making every effort to get back to work as soon as an opportunity presents itself. All that said, we currently need help to get us through the month of July so we don't fall behind on any of our bills. Again, I will never be able to express enough how much we appreciate any and all donations to help us through this time. Thank you and much love to you all.
