Anybody that knows my sister, Tammy Blessington-Bundy, would tell you she would literally give somebody in need her last dollar. She is kind and selfless yet tough. She is also one of the hardest working people you will ever meet. Tammy and her husband, Bill, have had a rough go of it lately through no fault of their own. Bill got hurt helping a friend and what followed was a series of back surgeries to basically keep him out of a wheelchair. Devastatingly, Bill now has situational dementia, making everything so much worse. The level of pain that he endures daily makes it impossible for him to walk, let alone get everyday things accomplished. Unfortunately, due to these medical issues there is no way he can work. Tammy finds herself having to do pretty much everything on her own including being the sole provider while caring for him. This is next to impossible to accomplish. It’s literally a Catch 22 because she must leave to work BUT Bill is unable to be left alone for long. When she isn’t with him, she is worrying about him. Tammy can’t give 100% of herself to work or home life successfully. We are very thankful to have an excellent group of friends who try to help as much as they can with doctors’ appointments and check on Bill. Even with this help, it's becoming increasingly more difficult for Tammy and Bill to survive. The bills are mounting, and they include the daunting medical fees, their heater breaking and vehicle repairs just to name a few. They find themselves in a place they never thought they would be in. So, on her behalf and most likely much to her chagrin I am asking you to please help my sister if you can. Her family and close friends do all that they can to help, but sadly it's just not enough. We may have sweltering days right now, but winter is just around the corner, and I am compelled to ask for your help as something needs to be done before they lose everything, they've worked so hard to maintain. She has a lot of pride and will most certainly not be happy with me for starting this LFEBridge. I will be blocking her from seeing it in the beginning. She will obviously find out sooner, rather than later. I'm hoping that due to the generosity of friends, family and strangers this LFEBridge will relieve some of her financial burden and she can focus on taking care of her husband as well as herself. Please know, that should you help, she will pay it forward when she can. That’s just the kind of person Tammy has always been. If you can help, thank you from all of us.
