As many of you know, Paul Zancanelli was involved in a serious car accident on 3/16/23 and sustained a severe traumatic brain injury. He spent six weeks at Anschutz hospital, three weeks of it in the neuro ICU before being transferred to Craig Hospital on 4/27/23. Paul received outstanding care at Craig and has been making slow but steady progress and is healing more and more each day. Although we were told he may not survive, he is now talking, eating, laughing and beginning to regain the use of his body. Unfortunately, his health insurance company has decided to stop paying for Craig and he is now home. They are currently only covering a small portion of his continued therapy. At this time he requires total assistance to do any daily tasks and routines. Paul is persistently driven and determined to heal and we know he can continue to make huge bounds in his therapy. With this fundraiser, we are hoping to raise money to help the family pay out of pocket to support Paul's therapies and costly medical bills. We have appreciated everyone’s support and prayers during this time, he is truly our miracle. Thank you so much!
