Hi, my name is Veronica Ledoux. I am hoping to raise money to give my brother a little piece of mind while he fights to get healthy. My brother is a young man of 38, a husband and a father of 3. On Thursday 8/3/23 he was rushed to the trauma unit for open heart surgery. I know it sounds crazy, he is so young, but that is where we are at. As it turns out our family has some great genetics, and some of us are prone to a disorder that causes our blood to clot. Raymond was in surgery for almost 7 hours where they found multiple clots in his heart and lungs and many other places throughout his body. Now with the surgery done, he still has a long road to recovery. Then there is figuring out what he can now do for employment. With this condition, he will not be able to be employed in the manual labor jobs that he has known his whole life. He will not only have to face getting better but also figure out how he will have to pivot his life and find a new way to support his family. I don't know how much they will eventually need, because we don't how long this road to recovery will be, but any help is so very appreciated. Thank you, and please pray for him to have a speedy recovery.
